نقاشی بر روی ساحل گرچه ماندگار نیست اما آثار زیبا و لطیف هنرمندان را می‌توان تا قبل از هجوم امواج در آن دید.

یک هنرمند به نام «جیم جنوان» بر روی سواحل کالیفرنیا آثاری متعدد و متنوع و ناپایدار خلق می‌کند. این آثار تا وقتی امواج به آن نرسیده‌اند ماندگار است و بیننده آرزو می‌کند این نقاشی های زیبا هرگز پاک نشوند.

این هنرمند آمریکایی است که همیشه بر روی شن های ساحل نقش‌های زیبایی خلق کرده است. آثار این هنرمند بر روی شن و ماسه همیشه اهمیت بسیاری داشته است؛ وی ساعت‌ها وقت خود را در ایجاد طرح‌های زیبا صرف می‌کند و بر روی بوم غول پیکر دریا آثاری خلق می‌کند که ماندگار نیستند.

در طول 17 سال گذشته جیم بیش از 100 نقش نه تنها در کالیفرنیا بلکه در سواحل دیگر جهان ایجاد کرده است.
گرچه تمام این تصاویر توسط امواج و دریا بلعیده می‌شوند و عمری کوتاه دارند اما بسیار زیبا هستند و می‌توان تصاویر آن ها را در وب سایت جیم نگاه کرد.
